3552166 - The Ship-to Party and Address are Different in the Master and follow-up Sales Orders in the 3PL Scenario Created via Webservice

In the 3PL scenario created through the webservice, the ship-to party and address are different in the Master and Follow-up sales orders

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Sales Order work center.
2. View: Sales Orders.
3. Search and edit ABC (ABC is the sales order id of master sales order).
4. Navigate to document flow and open the follow-up sales order DEF (DEF is the sales order id of follow-up sales order).
5. The ship-to party in sales order ABC is XX and YY in sales order DEF (XX and YY are ship-to party of sales orders).

The expectation is to have ship-to party in both the sales orders ABC and DEF.

The ship-to party, bill-to party, and address information were provided in the payload while creating the master sales order. The follow-up sales order retrieves the data from the account master data.
If the ship-to party in the sales order is different from the one maintained in the master data, the account name is used as the ship-to party and displayed in the follow-up sales order.

Note: Even if you enter the same ship-to party and address details that are maintained in the master data, it displays the account name as the ship-to party and the main address as the address because you are overwriting the master data information.

This is the expected system behavior. Please do not pass the Ship-to party, bill to party, and address in the payload as it overwrites the information from the account master data.

The system will retrieve the information maintained in the master data and display the same ship-to party and address details in both sales orders, which are maintained in the account master data.
