3552187 - Handling Corrupt Log Buffer Dumps in SAP HANA Secondary Replication

Symptom

A file named indexserver.logbuffer.*.corrupt.dmp.content was found in the tenant trace directory of a secondary SAP HANA replication setup. The file format deviates from previously known *.corrupt.dmp.content logs. No additional traces or HANA alerts were available, and trace rotation had occurred. The primary concern is understanding whether the corrupt part of the log was successfully re-shipped and whether a full replication is required.

The corresponding error message observed in the logs is:

ERROR: invalid log entry position 0x263b303123263b74, expected 0x1b4e229ca856
