3552494 - Quantity of enhanced limit item not passed to Purchase Requisition created from Maintenance Order - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • In the process of creating a Purchase Requisition from a Maintenance Order for service procurement, the quantity is not displayed even though it is provided from the maintenance order.
  • Same as material number and Unit of Measure (UoM).

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Maintenance Order for service procurement using enhanced limit, item category E.
  2. Generate a Purchase Requisition from the created Maintenance Order.
  3. Notice that the quantity, material number and Unit of Measure (UoM) are not displayed in the Purchase Requisition despite being provided in the Maintenance Order.

Cause

Resolution

The quantity, material number, and Unit of Measure (UoM) values are not passed to the Purchase Requisition while creating a Maintenance Order with Enhanced Limit, which is a standard behavior. These field values should not be considered for enhanced limit. This is the standard functionality and it cannot be changed.
