3552557 - Issue with Assigning Ship-To Party in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• When creating a new customer in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the new customer is not being assigned as its own Ship-To party.
• The issue arises when multiple Ship-To parties are assigned to a single customer.
• The standard Partner Function (Sold To, Bill To, Payer, Ship To) does not include the created customer as a Ship-To party.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a new customer in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
2. Assign multiple Ship-To parties to the created customer.
3. Check the assigned Partner Functions, the created customer is not listed as a Ship-To party.

This behavior is intentional and aligns with the system design. In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the system automatically assigns all mandatory partner functions with the same customer number. If a different customer number is provided in the Partner Functions sheet, the system will use that number.

To ensure the new customer is assigned as its own Ship-To party, follow these steps:

1. Verify the customer number in the migration template: In the Partner Functions sheet, make sure the new customer’s number is filled in the “WE” column.

   WE = 000001

2. Review and resubmit the migration template: Make sure all necessary sheets are correctly filled, then resubmit the migration template.
