3552671 - Permissions in IAS for LMS IAS Technical User

What permissions do we need to enable for our LMS IAS Technical User? This is an admin account located in Users and Authorizations section of IAS which is needed for LMS IAS integration, not to be confused with an Admin or User account in the LMS. Usually in a format like the following - "LMS IAS <LMS Tenant ID>"

1. Access IAS
2. Users and Authorizations
3. Administrators
4. Locate the LMS IAS Technical User you are using for your integration
5. Add the permissions mentioned below

In general the admin account in IAS needs all permissions except “Access Proxy System API” and “Access Identity Provisioning Tenant Admin API” which are optional:

Should you have any Sync issues, please ensure to add the below permissions to the technical user of your IAS target system

   2. access real-time provisioning API
