If you did build stacks of Custom CDS views, these inherit as well down to the first SAP data source, so all of them must be updated. In case of such view stacks it is usually sufficient to only publish one view. Publishing the rest of the stack will be triggered automatically. Still, it is needed to export the changed custom CDS views from the Test system and import them into the Production system with apps Export Software Collection and Import Collection for all of the updated views.
