Symptom

Customized field cannot be shown for Pick List of Outbound Delivery even it is extended at APP Custom Fields.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create Customized field for business context Shipping header and extend it to Picking List at APP Custom Field.
  2. Create an outbound delivery and complete the picking.
  3. Go to Extra and Output control at APP Change Outbound Delivery, add an output item for Picking List.
  4. Preview the PDF or XML file, the customized field cannot be shown.

Resolution

Custom fields are not displayed in the PDF preview or XML file, only in the final output.

If it is required to preview the PDF before output, create customized fields to extend it to the form template and copy the fields from CDS view with Shipping BADIs.
