3553178 - Sensitive data encryption in SAP PI/PO system is not working

Symptom

You have enabled the Sensitive Date option for specific interfaces in SAP PI/PO system to encrypt the messages.

You have followed the SAP note 2837379 and enabled the following parameters:

  • messaging.security.persistenceLayerEncryption.enabled 
  • messaging.security.persistenceLayerEncryption.currentKeyAlias 

Still the messages are not getting encrypted and are visible in the message monitor.
