3553402 - Reason for Rejection Field in Sales Quote Read Only

When editing a sales quote you notice the field reason for rejection as read only and you wonder the logic behind it.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Open the Sales Quotes view.
3. Open sales quote ABC (where ABC is the ID of the sales quote).
4. Edit it.
5. Notice the header field 'Reason for Rejection' as read only.

This field is made read only in three situations:

1. All items are cancelled without header cancellation                 
2. Sales quote completed without header cancellation
3. An item has its cancellation status as 'cancelled'. 

This is the system standard behavior.
