3553702 - Error creating Social Media User Profile using ODATA Console

Symptom

  • An attempt to POST Social user profile information to create a social profile from ODATA console results in an error.
  •                                "Create not possible; Source does not exist"

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to POST Social user profile information to create a social profile from ODATA console.
  2. Encounter the error "Create not possible; Source does not exist".

Cause

Mandatory dependent objects are missing

Resolution

  1. Fill the attached CSV files with the profile information from your legacy system or from other system. You should know which business partner these needs to be associated to.  
  2. Social_Media_User_Profile
    ObjectID,External_Key,Category,Category_Text,ID,Account_UUID,AccountInternalID

    Social_Media_User_Profile_User_Information
    ObjectID,ParentObjectID,HeaderObjectID,External_Key,SocialMediaUserProfileExternalKey,Channel_Type,Channel_Type_Text,Email,ExternalPartyAccountID,First_Name,Last_Name,Middle_Name,Social_Media_User_Image_Profile_URL,Social_Media_User_Account_ID,Handle

    Social_Medoa_User_Profile_Bupa_Reference
    ObjectID,ParentObjectID,HeaderObjectID,External_Key,SocialMediaUserProfileExternalKey,BusinessPartnerUUID,BusinessPartnerCategoryCode,BusinessPartnerCategoryCodeText,BusinessPartnerRoleCode,BusinessPartnerRoleCodeText,AccountInternalID

  3. upload ALL Spreadsheets which contain mandatory dependent objects:
  4. Use the Data Workbench -> Import -> Choose "Individual Object", select "Standard Object" and search for "Social Media User Profile" click on "Next" button and select your filled Social_Media_User_Profile CSV file and click on Upload button.
  5. Use the Data Workbench -> Import -> Choose "Individual Object", select "Standard Object" and search for "Social Media User Profile User Information" click on "Next" button and select your filled Social Media User Profile User Information CSV file and click on Upload button.
  6. Use the Data Workbench -> Import -> Choose "Individual Object", select "Standard Object" and search for "Social Media User Profile Bupa Reference" click on "Next" button and select your filled Social Media User Profile Bupa Reference CSV file and click on Upload button.
