3553907 - Duplicate Handling Unit created by DESADV Idoc

Symptom

  • An EXIDV number is passed in the DESADV Idoc which already exists in the system
  • The result is a duplicate Handling Unit (HU) is created by the Idoc
  • There are two (or more) entries in table VEKP with the same EXIDV number, subsequent to DESADV Idoc processing.
  • This is a data inconsistency if the 'HU ID Unique' flag is active on the system (TVSHP-EXIDV_UNIQUE).
