Symptom

  • A numeric overflow error occurs when executing SQL queries involving some aggregate functions such as SUM, AVG, MAX and etc. functions on a specific column in the SAP HANA database.
  • The error message encountered is "314: numeric overflow: search table error: [69441] overflow in numeric calculation; exception 70006944: overflow in numeric calculation."
