3553984 - Application OnChange Rule does not change the field value to null in the New Workbench - Recruiting Management

This article describes the issue with the onChange rule in the Job Application wherein the system cannot set a field, i.e., picklist, string, number, to null or blank or no selection. This issue appears to be only happening on the New Workbench. 

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Select a Job Application and switch to the Latest Candidate Workbench.
2. Select a candidate and click on Edit (Application Information).
3. Update a field to trigger the business rule.
4. The rule should set the target number, picklist, or text field to blank or null, but does not do so. 

Our Engineering team has resolved the issue and the fix will be available in upcoming 2505 release.

2505 release will be available as follow:

• Preview environment: 14th April 2025
• Production environment: 16th May 2025
