3554067 - Purchase order accrual is not reversed with planned reversal date

Some purchase order accrual are not reversed as expected.

If the expected reversing date is not between Start of Life and End of Life, then there will be no reversing, which is standard behavior. Changing the purchase order data can be considered, which will result in changing of Start of Life and End of Life.

Here is an example.

Start of Life: 10.1.2024

End of Life: 10.31.2024

Start of Life and End of Life can be seen in “Display Purchase Order Accruals” as shown in screenshot.

Posting run (if selected “Reverse on First Day of Next Period”) on Oct will not generate a reversal on 11.1.2024 because 11.1.2024 is not between Start of Life and End of Life. This is the expected behavior.

Changing the purchase order data can be considered, which will result in changing of Start of Life and End of Life to:

Start of Life: 10.1.2024

End of Life: 11.31.2024

If the above change is done, then posting run (if selected “Reverse on First Day of Next Period”) on Oct will generate a reversal on 11.1.2024.
