Symptom
An email in Hebrew language that has tokens that resolve in English will cause the order of the sentences to change.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Create an email template in Hebrew with tokens that will resolve in English.
- Send an email using this template.
- Observe that the order of the sentence with the token in English will change.
Cause
Product Management have confirmed this is a general issue across all editors if both Hebrew and English words are used together. It happens because this distorts the formatting because the sentence contains both Left-to-Right (LTR) and Right-To-Left (RTL) text.
Resolution
Use only Tokens that resolve in the Hebrew language.
If you absolutely must have a token in the email that only resolves in English or any other LTR language, the workaround would be to have this on a separate line so that it does not cause this issue.
