3554451 - DRTM Master Data Purge fails with "reviewing" status - without learning integration

• The purge request for an employee in SAP SuccessFactors fails and the error message displayed is 'reviewing'.
• The issue is specific to the Data Retention Management function.
• The customer doesn't have learning integrated with the SuccessFactors system OR their configuration is set as expected according to KBA 2179378 - Purge Request fails automatically with "Reviewing..." status

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Attempt to purge an employee in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central using the Data Retention Management function.
2. The purge request fails and the error message displayed is 'reviewing'.
3. You don't have Learning integrated to your BizX system OR all the causes mentioned on KBA 2179378 have been eliminated. 

The issue occurs when the country of registration of the users that are being purged does not have 'name information' under Manage Data > Country/Region.

1. Ensure that the country of registration of the users that are being purged has 'name information'
   For that, go to:
   1. Admin Center
   2. Manage Data
   3. Country/Region > Make correction/edit
   4. Add value to 'Country/Region' field
2. Retry the purge operation.

To verify the country of registration for each user, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Admin Center > Employee Export
2. Export the User Data File
3. Search for the users you wish to purge and check the country column value.
