The button “Manage Skills” from the job requisition page is controlled by the AI feature switches that activate AI Skills. These feature switches can be turned on/off from Admin Center / AI Services Administration.

The 2 features that are controlling the visibility of this button are:

• Assisted Applicant Screening
• Assisted Job Skills for Career Site Builder

These features can be activated separately or together.

Enabling the “Assisted Applicant Screening” feature

1. Navigate to Admin Center > AI Services Administration > Feature Settings > Recruiting
2. Enable the switch Assisted Applicant Screening
3. Go to “Configure Business Rules” as per help portal documentation

Impact on the “Manage Skills” button:

Once “Assisted Applicant Screening” is configured:

• The button “Manage Skills” will be visible on any job requisition, regardless of the eligibility of the job requisition to using “Assisted Applicant Screening” as per the business rules configuration.
• The Skills Compatibility will be enabled on Applicant Workbench only on the eligible job requisitions as per business rules configuration.
• Users who have edit permission on the job requisition can configure the job required skills that will be used for the skills matching use cases (either Job Recommendations to candidates via the option “Assisted Job Skills for Career Site Builder” or the Applicants skills matching via the option “Assisted Applicants Screening”)

1. Navigate to Admin Center > AI Services Administration > Feature Settings > Recruiting
2. Enable the switch Assisted Job Skills for Career Site Builder
3. Run the scheduled job Extract Skills from Job Description Using AI on the Scheduled Job Manager page, so that existing job postings, already posted, are analyzed to extract skills from the job description, using AI.
4. Enable the AI-Assisted Skills Matching for Resumes feature in Career Site Builder.

Impact on the “Manage Skills” button:

Once “Assisted Job Skills for Career Site Builder” is configured:

• The button “Manage Skills” will be visible on any job requisition, regardless of the status of the feature switch “Assistant Applicant Screening”, hence regardless of the eligibility of the job requisition to using “Assistant Applicant Screening” as per business rules.
• Users who have edit permission on the job requisition can configure the job required skills that will be used for the skills matching use cases
