The CDS views in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition cannot be found in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• For S/4HANA Live Connection to CDS views

SAP Analytics Cloud can consume queries based both on SAP Delivered and Custom Core Data Services (CDS views) from S/4HANA Cloud or On-Premise. Only CDS View Type CONSUMPTION is consumable and must have the annotation @analytics.query:true to generate a transient query automatically to expose the CDS view to the analytic manager.
In SAP Analytics Cloud, creation of a connection based on S/4HANA Live will access these transient queries.

• For S/4HANA Import Connection to OData generated from CDS view

Where data is replicated from S/4HANA to SAP Analytics Cloud, the CDS view (along with criteria shown above) must also have the OData annotation @Odata.publish:true to generate an OData service.

For Live Connection, views with @analytics.query:true can be used in SAC.

For Custom CDS view, which with Scenario Analytical Cube, it can be created and then be used to created a query in custom analytical queries app. Then creating a query app using view browser and include it in a business catalog with custom catalog extension will make it available in SAC for live connection.

For Import Connection, the views must have OData annotation @Odata.publish:true to generate an OData service.

For custom CDS view with scenario external API, the communication arrangement should be created.

App View Browser can be used to check the annotation of the view.
