3555227 - StringToNumber Error During Sub-Item Update in Parent/Child System (List)

During sub-item update in Parent/Child System (List) error is thrown: Input string was not in correct format.

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

1. Search for a quote and add a product of type Parent/Child System (List)
2. Edit Item in the configurator.
3. Click update quote, you will then see a red error message appear on the screen
4. A StringToNumber Fatal error also appears in developer console.

Known limitation in the software.

• This is a known limitation.
• System list products cannot be used as sub-items, nor can sub-items be added to system list products.
• As this is missing functionality an enhancement request through customer influence portal can be made.
