3555340 - Lack of Serial Number Details in Confirmation Journal Report in SAP Business ByDesign

• The Confirmation Journal report does not display details of serial numbers/registered products.
• The issue arises when attempting to view the movements of a product's serial number in the Confirmation Journal report.
• The Confirmation Journal data source does not reference the serial number field.
• The issue persists even after joining two data sources: Confirmation Journal and Registered Product Movement History.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Business Analytics work center.
2. Proceed to the Design Reports view.
3. Search for the Confirmation Journal report.
4. Execute the report after entering the mandatory details.

You are not able to see any information related to serial numbers of the products. 

The Confirmation Journal report is not designed to display Serial Numbers/Registered Products.

Create a new report using the following data sources which contain serial numbers movement information:

• Serial Inventory: SERIAL_INV
• Registered Product Movement History: REG_PROD_MH
