3555389 - Functional Area missing during Legislatively Sensitive Data Configuration creation for custom MDF Objects

Symptom

  • When creating Legislatively Sensitive Data Configuration (LSPD) for a custom MDF Object, the Functional Area field is empty.
  • Some Functional Areas are missing in the Functional Area field

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Metadata Framework (MDF)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Configure Object Definitions
  2. Select "Create New Legislatively Sensitive Data Configuration"
  3. Set a Custom MDF Object
  4. Choose Module Name
  5. Observe that the Functional Area field is empty or some options are missing

Cause

The corresponding DRTM Upgrades in Upgrade Center are necessary to make the Functional Area field options available.

Resolution

Enable the appropriate upgrade in Upgrade Center to make the Functional Area field available for custom MDF objects in LSPD.
