3555618 - The ICMR Elimination task 2042 takes long time or even fails due to lack of ABAP memory in Consolidation Monitor

While running task 2042 IC Elim. Balance Sheet, there is an time out ABAP issue pops up.

For performance issue, please change the Customizing settings SSCUI Define Additional Settings of Matching Methods:

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Select a matching method which you used for Elimination method SC001 .
3. On the Aggregation Field Removal page, select the characteristic fields you want to remove from data aggregation in ICMR interunit elimination. This is to remove unnecessary details from data for a higher level of aggregation and to improve system performance. For example, the following fields may be removed:

• • SGTXT (Line Item Text)

• • TIMESTAMP (Time Stamp)

• • BUDAT (Posting Date)

So that the data can be aggregated at higher level. Thus the data volume can be reduced before it comes to the ABAP memory. It won't impact the elimination results, as the 3 fields are not used in the elimination algorithm.
