3555953 - Error KS028 when changing the profit center in KS02

Symptom

Error message KS028 - "Change interval must be on posting period limit" is raised when changing the profit center of the cost center in t-code KS02. The analysis period being changed starts in the middle of the period. For example, the cost center being changed has below two validity periods:

  1. Valid from 01.01.2024 to 05.01.2024 
  2. Valid from 06.01.2024 to 31.01.2024

Both analysis periods have profit center as XXX, but it is desired to change the profit center on analysis period B to YYY.
