3556065 - Error message "[Application Error]:Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'modelId')" would appear when using the Link function to define formula for Account dimension member in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Error message "[Application Error]:Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'modelId')" would appear when defining the formula with Link function in public Account dimension

•  SAP Analytics Cloud 2024.21.11

1. Log onto SAC
2. Create a public Account Dimension and add some dimension members into this dimension
3. Select any account dimension member and open the formula editor dialog
4. On the following "Formula Editor" dialog, use the Link function to define formula
   => Observe that the "Select Model" dialog would then appear
5. On this "Select Model" dialog, click on the folder containing models
   => Observe that the error message "[Application Error]:Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'modelId')" would appear
   
   

The issue is caused by a defect in the product.

The issue is fixed and planned to be released in 2025 QRC2
