3556070 - [2H 2024]Unable to Click the Save Button on Password Change Screen

• Several employees have reported being unable to click the "Save" button on the password change screen, even after entering a new password that adheres to the password policy.
• The "Save" button is greyed out even if all required fields are filled.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Click on the Profile Icon in the global header
2. Click in "Reset Password"
3. "Current Field" is auto completed by browser
4. After entering New Password twice, the "Save" button is still appearing as greyed out and not clickable

In previous version, Save button is displayed as clickable by default and it validates the required field after being clicked.

However, in b2411 version, the Save button is greyed out by default and it will be clickable automatically when all required field are validated as not null.

However, it failed to recognize the "Current Password" field as not null when it is auto completed by browser "remember password" function.

And it caused the "Save" button to be not clickable.

The solution to this issue is currently under investigation.

Engineering team plan to revert the "Save" button to be always clickable by default.

Workaround before the issue is fixed:

1. Add any letter to the "Current Password" field which is auto completed by browser, and then left click on any space on the pop up widget.
2. You will find that the "Save" button is available now
3. Then go back to "Current Password" column and remove the extra letter you added just now
4. Click on "Save" button
