3556532 - Entry date fields are not aligned when hiring an onboarding employee through the Manage Pending Hires - 2H 2024

Symptom

When an employee is hired through Manage Pending Hires by changing the hire date, the company entry date field is not aligning with the hire date of the employee post hiring.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to SF instance.
  2. Navigate to Manage pending hires -> Onboarding.
  3. Change the start date for the employee.
  4. Submit the hire.
  5. Navigate to hired employee profile and check job information where company entry date is not aligned with hire date of the employee.

Cause

Resolution

  • Product Engineering is investigating a solution.

Workaround:

Hire the employee without changing the hire date/start date and perform hire date correction.     
                                           (OR)
Perform full purge on job information of the employee.
