3556607 - Business User automatically locking in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition after IPS job execution

Business Users get locked in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition after the Identity Provisioning(IPS) job is executed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Execute the read job in IAS.
2. After the job completion, some users are locked in S/4HANA Cloud Public System.

The issue arises due to the execution of the Identity Provisioning Service (IPS) job, which updates the business user status. If the users are in an inactive status in the IAS system, they get locked in the S/4HANA Cloud Public system when the IPS job is executed.

1. Open the IAS administration console.
2. Check the status of the users in the IAS system which are getting locked in the S/4HANA Cloud Public system.
3. If the user is inactive, then the IPS will lock the user in the S/4HANA Cloud Public system when the IPS job is executed.
4. Change the user status to active.
5. Trigger the IPS job:
   1. Open the Identity Provisioning system.
   2. Open source system IAS - source.
   3. Select Jobs -> run Read job.
