3557069 - Unable to Add Extension Fields to Stock Overview Screen in SAP Business ByDesign

• The need to add developments via extension fields to screens accessible only via Common Tasks, such as Stock Overview, is reported.
• These screens are locked to the developer, preventing any developments from being added.

Inventory Processing

1. Navigate to the Outbound Logistics work center.
2. Select the Common Tasks view and choose the Stock Overview screen.
3. Attempt to enter the Adaptation mode or Personalization mode.

Observe that it is not possible to add any extension fields to this screen.

• The addition of extension fields is technically feasible on all screens where it is provided as a standard feature.
• In certain screens, such as the Stock Overview screen, technical constraints prevent the addition of extension fields.

It is not possible to add extension fields to screens where it is technically infeasible, such as the Stock Overview screen.
