3557161 - How to import Outdated or Discarded Customizing Type of Transport Request to Test and Production systems? - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Customizing Type of Transport Requests were exported from system version N (Example: Release at Export is 2308) and after the system was upgraded to version N+2 (Example: Version 2408) these transport requests are marked as 'Outdated'. You want to re-transport the content. 
• Customizing Type of Transport Requests were Discarded in Test or Productive Systems and now you want to re-transport the content.

To import an 'Outdated' or 'Discarded' Customizing Transport Request into the Test and Production Systems, create a replacement transport for the Outdated Customizing Transports.

Steps to follow:

1. Logon to the customizing tenant of development system
2. Open the Export Customizing Transports app and create a new Customizing Request
3. Logon to the customizing tenant using ABAP Development Tools
   1. Open the Transport Organizer View
      
   2. Select system and open the context menu (right click)
      
   3. Select 'Open Transport Request or Task' and give the transport request number(Which is created in Export Customizing Transport App) and click on OK
   4. In the 'Objects' section of the transport request select the transport request and open the context menu (right click) again
   5. Select 'Include Objects > Add Objects from Request and give one of the transport requests that are outdated.
      
   6. Repeat the same with all outdated transport requests
4. Go back to the Export Customizing Transports app and release the transport request
5. Import the transport to test system and forward it to production system
6. Import the transport to production system.

OR

Use "Create Copy" option in the app "Export Customizing Transport" in customizing tenant for the original Transport.

This will create a new transport request with the same content. Then transport it to Test and Production tenant again.

As per Transport Dependencies | SAP Help Portal 

Note : You can't import a transport created on release n into release n+2 and higher, which means that you have to recreate the transport in the development system. However, it is not possible to recreate CBC transports.

In this case please create a support incident, and provide CB users for your Customizing, Test and Productive tenants.
