3557315 - Not possible to inactivate field Allow Digital Signature in Document Generation

Symptom

After 2H 2024 release, new field "Allow Digital Signature" appeared in Document Generation – Generate Document. We do not want to use Digital Signature in Documents. Is it possible do inactivate or hide it?

Reproducing the Issue

Go to Document Generation – Generate Document
Allow Digital Signature appears as a Yes/No field

Cause

As of 2H 2024 release, Digital Signature is supported in Document Generation. Thus field "Allow Digital Signature" will appear as default when opening Document Generation – Generate Document.

It is not possible to hide or inactivate the 'Allow Digital Signature' field in 'Generate Document'. However, once a template is selected, this field will be read-only (greyed-out) if signature is not relevant for that template.

Resolution
