3557349 - Error '???ADVANCES_UNAUTHORIZED_REQUEST???' while approving advances - 2H2024

While approving any advances workflow, error '???ADVANCES_UNAUTHORIZED_REQUEST???' is being thrown.

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite 
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Advances

1. Ensure approver does not have access to 'Advances Eligibility(All)' under 'Manage Advances'.
2. Try to approve any advances workflow and error '???ADVANCES_UNAUTHORIZED_REQUEST???' will be thrown.

Patch which will be applied on 28 Jan 2025 in preview instances and 30 Jan 2025 in production instances.

Workaround: Please ensure approvers have permission to 'Advances Eligibility(All)' under 'Manage Advances' to the relevant target population until fix is provided.
