3557485 - Unable to see pay statement when the employee contains more than 200 payroll periods

Symptom

The direct pay statement displays the current displayable period as well as the previous 199 periods, even if the employee has additional previous periods.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
  • Direct Pay Statement

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to Employee Central
  2. Access to pay history.
  3. Check for a previous period and check it does not appear

Cause

This is not an error but rather a standard behavior. There is a limit of 200 periods that can be shown. However, it is possible to modify the settings to display other 200 periods, ensuring that employees have access to their previous periods.

Resolution

The periods displayed can be modified by utilizing the filter feature. For instance, in the case of a weekly payroll where an employee is unable to view their 2017 pay statement, they can utilize the filter option, as shown in the image above, to access his 53 pay statements from 2017.
