  Configuration Error: A Named Cache with 'cache status=default data cache' does not exist in the configuration file.
  
  
• Prior to shutdown ASE shows messages including error 5854:
  
  Configuration file 'E:\sybase\TEP\TEP.cfg' has been written and the previous version has been renamed to 'E:\sybase\TEP\TEP.000000194'.
  
  followed by
  
  Error: 5854, Severity: 18, State: 1
  Configuration Error: Cannot write out file \sybase\SID\SID.cfg' due to system error 'No space left on device' (status = -2).
