3557845 - Blocking parallel edit of related sales documents

Symptom

  • When editing a specific subsequent order, the preceding order/quotation/contract/inquiry cannot be changed in parallel.
  • Opening successor document and predecessor document in change mode at the same time is not possible.
  • Different users cannot edit sales orders referencing to the same quotation/contract/preceding document.
  • The system displays error message V1042 (Sales document &1 is currently being processed by &2.) when sales documents are to be edited in parallel.
