3557848 - Unable to reverse the deletion flag of valuation area in product master data - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

It is non-editable for "Marked for Deletion" of valuation area when selecting 'Edit' mode for valuation area.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the product in the app "Manage Product Master Data".
  2. Attempt to reverse the deletion flag valuation area .

Cause

The root cause of the issue is that a marked for deletion in the valuation class for a product is linked to the plant.

When attempting to manage the product in the app "Manage Product Master Data", the marked for deletion is available in reverse mode at the plant level and not at the valuation class level. The reverse mode marked for deletion from YES to NO will be copied at the valuation class level.

Resolution

It is suggested to uncheck "Marked for Deletion" in plant , then it will be copied to valuation area level.
