3558080 - Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 () error and blank screen appears when executing Web Dynpro ABAP (WDA) application

When executing Web Dynpro ABAP (WDA) application either from backend or through Portal/Fiori Launchpad, the screen is getting blank and the following error appears in the console log tab of Developer tools in the Browser:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()
wdr_test_ui_elements:1  Refused to execute script from 'https://<hostname>/sap/public/bc/webdynpro/ssr/wda_ls_main.js?version=XXXXXX-XXXXX&sap-wd-loadOnDemand=false' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.

Uncaught ReferenceError: wdaOnMainLoad is not defined
