3558129 - Unable to Link Contact Person as Partner Function in Manage Business Partner Master Data App

• In the Manage Business Partner Master Data app, the number displayed under Contacts refers to the Business Partner number of the contact person. However, when trying to assign this contact as a partner function in the sales area data, searching by the contact person number shown on the contact screen does not return any results. 
• Error message: "Customer xxxx : Contact person with partner number ABC does not exist" appears when attempting to assign the contact person as a partner function. 

           Where xxxx represents Business partner number and ABC represents Contact Business partner number
