Symptom

  • When running an ASE utility
    • This can be any command utility, examples include startserver, showserver, isql
  • A message is returned stating it is not found
  • Using startserver example:

    startserver -f RUN_SID

    If 'startserver' is not a typo you can use command-not-found to lookup the package that contains it, like this:
        cnf startserver
