3558159 - Validation Error when Assigning Programs with Virtual Classes in SuccessFactors Learning

When a manager attempts to assign a program with scheduled virtual classes to a user, they receive an error message:

 "Validation Error. Please correct the following errors before proceeding: Manager assignment of programs that contain virtual classes is not currently supported. Please contact your administrator for assigning such programs to users."

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Access SuccessFactors Learning as a manager>
2. Navigate to Team View>
3. Click on the three dots and select Manage Assignments>
4. Select Assign Learning>
5. Add a Program that contains a VLS class>
6. Add the users>
7. Click on Continue>
8. Click on Assign Learning.

The functionality to assign programs containing virtual classes as a manager is currently not supported on SuccessFactors Learning.

Alternatively, to have a different system behavior, it would be possible to have an enhancement request created for it (as per KBA 2090228), where the Learning Product Management team can further review and assess the requested functionality to be considered in a future release.
