3558210 - Recovery Failed with Error "rc=2: No such file or directory"

Symptom

Recover database to a specific data backup without backup catalog failed with error "rc=2: No such file or directory".
When checking from OS level, the backup is there, but with a different name from the error message.

eg. error message may look like below:

recovery could not be completed,  Cannot open file ""<root>/xxx_databackup_0_1" ((closed, mode= R, access= rw-r-----, flags= DIRECT|MUST_EXIST|UNALIGNED_SIZE), factory= (root= "/hana/shared/[...]" rc=2: No such file or directory 

while the backup file under path /hana/shared/[...] is xxx_yyy_databackup_0_1.
