3558336 - Microsoft Teams for Interview Scheduling - Token Generation Error While Saving OAuth Configuration in Security Center - Recruiting Management

• A Token Generation Error occurs when attempting to save the OAuth Configuration for Microsoft Teams.
• Error message: An error occurred while generating the refresh token. Recheck the configuration and try after a few minutes.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Go to Security Center > OAuth Configurations.
2. Add or edit the OAuth configuration for Microsoft Teams integration.
3. Attempt to save the configuration.
4. A Token Generation Error is displayed: "An error occurred while generating the refresh token. Recheck the configuration and try after a few minutes."

The error may occur if the Endpoint URL is incorrect. 

For instance, this can happen when the 'Token URL' field is configured using the 'OAuth 2.0 token endpoint (v2)' of the Microsoft Entra ID application.

The URL looks like this "https://login.microsoftonline.com/xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx/oauth2/v2.0/token".

Contact the Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) administrator to obtain the 'OAuth 2.0 authorization endpoint (v2)' URL of the application.

The URL looks like this "https://login.microsoftonline.com/xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx/oauth2/v2.0/authorize".

In Security Center > OAuth Configurations, edit the configuration for Microsoft Teams and update the 'Token URL' field with the URL obtained.
