Resolution
1. Scenario for user with a single employment:
- If a person only has one employment, the Basic Import job can re-active soft purge user for this condition.
- To reactivate the purged user with one employment, refer the KBA 2392094 - Re-activate a Purged User Via Employee Import Feature.
2. Scenario for user with multiple employments:
- If the person has multiple employments, reactivation via Basic Import is not supported.
- The recommended approach is verify whether the user has Global Assignments or Concurrent Employments using the Data Inspector Tool. Select as Entity: TABLE_EMP_EMPLOYMENT_INFO and Filter: Person ID.
- If multiple employments are confirmed, perform a Hard Purge using System Identifier Purge and then recreate the user and employment records after the hard purge. Refer to KBA 2392076 - System Identifier Purge - User Permanent or Hard Purge
