Symptom

Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Open the 'Define Statutory Reports' app
- Copy / Extend / Create the custom report
- Activate it.
- Open 'Run Statutory Reports' app.
Cause
Missing configuration step, activities are not assigned to Report Category in SSCUI 'Setting Up Statutory Reporting' ID 101071 step.
Resolution
Possible reason can be that activities are not assigned to the Report Category in Setting Up Statutory Reporting. If so, please follow these steps :
- Open 'Define Statutory Reports' App
- Search category ID ( YY1_*) and select Report Category Tab.
- Open the category and in 'Reporting Activity' section , assign both the activity - Report created and the report from which it was copied i.e, Standard report and Activate it.
- Open 'Setting Up Run Statutory Reporting' ( ID 101071 ), select the required Reporting Entity and Report Category. If custom Report Category is not showing, click on 'New Entries' and create the category and press 'Enter' and select it.
- In 'Set Properties of Reporting Activity', click 'New Entries' and add same Activities ( make use of the suggestion option that appears near the entry column to avoid any mistake )
- Save it.
