3559151 - Restricted Measure created in a Story based on an SAP BW Live connection does not work in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Restricted Measure does not work.
• Restricted Measure created in SAP Analytics Cloud does not filter the data based on the selected hierarchical node value.

• SAP Analytics Clouds 2024.21.11

1. In SAP Analytics Cloud, create a SAP BW Live Connection.
2. Create a Model based on an SAP BW Query containing Dimensions with a hierarchy.
3. Create a Story, and add a Table based on the Model created in step 2.
4. On the Table, under Dimensions, create a Restricted Measure.
5. Set the value of the Restricted Measure based on a Hierarchy node value.
6. When viewing the Story, notice the Restricted Measure does not filter on the hierarchy node value selected.

• The SAP BW System was missing some of the required SAP Note, as listed in the SAP Analytics Cloud documentation in the section:

• It was also missing SAP Note 3559151

• Load all the SAP Notes to the SAP BW System, that are listed in the SAP Analytics Cloud documentation in the section:

• Also, load to the SAP BW System the SAP Note 3559151
