3559413 - Error with Address Validation in Account for London

• Unable to use the Suggested Address in Search Address due to an error message.
• The error message "LND is not a valid value for this field. Enter a valid value.".

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Customer work center
2. Go to the Accounts work center view
3. Click Create
4. Select GB - United Kingdom in the Country/Region field
5. Put a post code of London in the Search Address field
6. Select the Address
7. Suggested Address window opens
8. Select the Address
9. Click OK

Result: "LND" is put in the State field with an error.

Region "LND" (London) is currently inactive in the Business Configuration -> Overview -> Regions.

• Make "LND" active in the Business Configurations in C4C and add the code in the ERP system, however this may not be feasible as an unknown amount of data with the old region code has already existed in the ERP system.
• The workaround is to keep "LND" inactive and rename "LC" to "City of London" as the DQM searches for both "LND" and "City of London"

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center
2. Go to the Overview work center view
3. Open Regions
4. Search for "LC" code
5. Rename the Region Description from "London" to "City of London"
