Symptom
- An issue arises when attempting to log in using Basic Authentication in the system for testing e.g., ODATA or SOAP services.
- The issue appears to be user-dependent, with certain users unable to authenticate.
- Specifically, users with special national characters, such as "ß", in their usernames or passwords are unable to authenticate.
- When attempting to authenticate, the system returns an HTTP error 401, despite correct login data.
- The system delivers an HTML page with the text "401 Not authorized" and denies access.
