Symptom

  • Task fails with specific filter setting with large dataset.
  • Task fails intermittently when reading from SAP application system.
  • Error message: (E)|Data flow XXX|Reader ODP source returned error: <E: MESSAGE - Internal session terminated with a runtime error TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED (see ST22). MESSAGE_V1 - TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED. MESSAGE_V3 - S 800. E: MESSAGE - Job canceled.>. 
  • After CI-DS task failure, logon source SAP application system and check with t-code ST22. Same error is reported in SAP system dump.
