3559940 - BAPI_COPAACTUALS_POSTCOSTDATA - Issues with External Number Ranges after upgrade

Symptom

  • During a brownfields S/4HANA conversion, issues are encountered with BAPI_COPAACTUALS_POSTCOSTDATA for operating concern 1060.
  • The auto-generated program RK4O1060, which uses template program RKEVRK4O, has changed logic in form "track_currency_mode" from ECC to S/4.
  • Despite using an external number range for the operating concern, the system is still trying to derive the number range.
