3560373 - Different types of number range reflected when creating a Billing Document

Symptom

When creating a billing document, two different types of prefix in the number range are reflected. Only one number range for document type is desired.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create billing document
  2. See two different prefixes in the number range

Cause

The prefix is configured in SSCUI 'Define Number Range Prefixes for SD Documents' (ID 103283).

Resolution

If the prefix is not desired to be used, it is necessary to remove the number range prefix in SSCUI 'Define Number Range Prefixes for SD Documents' (ID 103283). Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Manage Your Solution
  2. Search for ID 103283 or 'Define Number Range Prefixes for SD Documents'
  3. Change the Number Range Prefix column
