3560809 - Last Name Field is mandatory during creation of a worker in Manage Workforce App

The error encountered "Last Name is mandatory. Enter a Last Name".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

1. Open the Manage Workforce app.
2. Attempt to create a new worker without a last name.

The Last Name field is mandatory as per the standard functionality of the Manage Workforce app.

The below steps can be used as an workaround:

1. Enter a character like "." as an empty last name. This method allows for easy identification of people without a last name. However, the "." character will be visible. For any use case where a search for the last name is required (analytics), the first method is preferred, using "." for an empty last name.
   
   
2. Alternatively, use the invisible character Tab (or tabulator). This can be done by using any editor like notepad or Word, pressing the tab key, marking it, copying and pasting it to the last name field. The Manage Workforce app would accept it. A space character would not work. Using this method, it's not possible to perform a search using the tab character.
